Dining on the Beach


Within walking distance are several  excellent restaurants. The Wharf, Sea Critters, Moziac, The Black Palm, Seaside Grille, Gennaro's Italian Cuisine, The Brass Monkey, Paradise Sweets and the Hurricane. Cuisine ranges from the fabulous Don CeSar to the causal Seaside Grille, both located right on the beach.  The north end of the island has dozens more.

Open everyday except Wednesday - 8am-4pm  (weather permitting)


Seahorse  -  Corner of Historic 8th Ave and Pass-a-Grille Way

Breakfast and lunch only.  Closed Tuesdays.


Hurricane  -  NW corner of the 800 block

Restaurant and full liquor bar. Indoor and outdoor dining.
Watch sunsets from Stormy's on the roof.


Brass Monkey  -  On Historic 8th Avenue

Fine Dining with a full liquor bar.


Mozaic  -  On Historic 8th Avenue

Mozaic ia a TAPA style Restaurant with delectable fine cuisine
from all over the world, plus, a fantastic wine selection,
beer and specialty drinks.


Black Palm  -  On Historic 8th Avenue

Transport yourself to a sunny tropical island.......oh yeah. You're already here, so why not enjoy the best in South American & Caribbean cuisine.  Dine indoors or on the patio under the stars.


Paradise Sweets  -  On Historic 8th Avenue

Gourmet candies, coffee, great ice cream and free wireless high-speed internet access.
Enjoy your coffee, ice cream, candy, water views and island life  while sitting in a one of a kind hand made, chair or bench made by  Markus Lehtovirta.  He has brought generations of Finnish furniture building experience to Paradise Sweets.  These chairs may be purchased and shipped to your home. 


The Gourmet Shop - On Historic 8th Avenue

Located between Paradise Sweets and Mazaic is the Gourmet Shop. 
You may order your beach picnic, dinner or have your party
catered by Kathy.  120 8th Avenue  Great selection of wines,
cheeses, hors
d'oeuvres, sweet treats, and gifts.


Shadracks  -  On Historic 8th Avenue

If you're on a liquid diet, there's always Shadracks.
Not much in the way of food, but a full liquor bar, juke box, billiards, video games, etc. If your timing is just right, there will be dozens of Harleys parked outside and the place will be jumpin'.

Shaner's Land and Sea Market - On Pass-a-Grille Way

If you'd rather eat on your own patio at Fairhaven, we highly recommend Shaner's, on the corner of 20th Avenue and Pass-a-Grille Way.
Great sandwiches made to order. Fantastic food at reasonable prices.
Some of it already prepped and ready for the oven or bar-b-que.
